About Malleus

Malleus (pronounced "Malley us") is Latin for 'hammer'. It's the root of the word 'malleable'. There is a bone in the ear called the malleus (because of its hammer-like shape) that picks up vibrations of the eardrum to transmit sound signals.

So, Malleus is a symbol of industriousness, flexibility, and listening, three virtues I consider most valuable for web development.
